Configure the User Profile Vanity URL

Prerequisites

  • An administrator account for the site. Administrators have full permissions to the specific site.

Steps

  1. Go to Persona Bar > Settings > Site Settings.

  2. Go to the Site Behavior tab, and then the User Profiles subtab.

    Site Behavior > User Profiles

  3. Configure the vanity URL for user profiles.

    Site Settings > Site Behavior > User Profiles — vanity URL settings

    Field Description
    Vanity URL Prefix The prefix for the user's vanity URL that leads to their profile page.
    Redirect Old Profile URLs If enabled, profile URLs in the old styles will be redirected to the current vanity profile URL.
